Who I am!!!

As the year 2013 approaches I look forward to doing some amazing and memorable things with my life.  I'm excited to do many new things with my two daughters along with some new traveling experiences with my husband.  I am a very busy mom working as a server, doing nails out of my house, and running a business that I started in 2009.  I am involved in my my childrens' school being a room mom for my 3rd graders class and also volunteering for many events.  I've also gotten involved with my church over the past two years and feel very rewarded by the gratitude they show to me with the volunteer work I give to them.  I live as a natural as I can and I give a great deal about the earth.  I will get into more of this later.  With all of this being said, my friends and family especially,  would say to me why blogging???  Well I guess it's a way of journaling for me on all of the exciting things I do day to day.  I have been using Pinterest for almost a year now and have used a handful of the things I have pinned.  Well my goal for 2013 is to use a pin every day.  Whether it be a hairsytle for myself or one of my girls, a new meal, or a fun craft I plan to use something on one of my boards every day.  Last year was the first year I haven't set goals for myself in over 7 years and although I felt I was successful there was something missing.  So I have established a list of goals for myself and can't wait to see what I can accomplish in the next year to come.

Over the past 9 months I have put on as much weight as I did when I was pregnant with my first child, Lily (well almost ;)...   So here is a list of a few of my Fitness Goals:
Let's start with weight~ I am 171 pounds. My heaviest not being pregnant :(
My goal is to lose 25 pounds this year.  I got a really cool idea this year on pinterest for a fitness jar.  My plan is to put $1 in the jar everytime I work out.  $1 for every pound lost, $2 for every pound lost after 5 pounds, $5 for every pound after 10 pounds lost (as we know the first 10 go off the fastest) and I am going to give myself a $100 bonus if my 25 is lost my June.  I can't wait to tell you what my plan is for this little jar of cash I plan on having before this summer ;)

Ways I plan on achieving this goal:
30 Day NO FAST FOOD CHALLENGE
96 OZ OF WATER A DAY
Replace 1-2 meals a day with meal replacement shakes
Workout 5 times a week (Weight loss yoga or eliptical)
Dining out only 1-2 x's a month
Alcohol limitation to only twice a month
MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

This is just a break down for what I will do in my first month :)
I've also set some financial goals along with things I will do for myself and for my children.

Pinterest:  Made Pinwheels as a Snack for the Inlaws~ Yummy
                 1 block of 1/3 less fat cream cheese
                 1/2 C sour cream
                 3 TBL Spoons of Wild Tree Taco Seasoning
                 1/2 can Finely Diced Black Olives
                 1 small can of Diced Green Chili's
                 1 pkg of 10 flour tortillas
Mix all ingredienst together and spread over flour tortillas.  Roll up tightly.  Chill for 1 hr in fridge.  Slice in 1/2 inch circles and serve on platter.  GREAT SUPERBOWL SNACK!!!

I also started a BLOG!!!! YAY!!! Today was a SUCCESS!!!
